August Safety Training is a mobile occupational health and safety training company that proudly services the BC Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and Fraser Valley regions with convenient training locations. We offer instruction of industry recognized courses so you or your employees may work safely and feel confident doing so. August Safety Training is an approved Energy Safety Canada® provider of H2S Alive, and Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) recognized Fall Protection and Confined Space and Entry Monitoring courses. These industry leading courses are recognized for their application among diverse industries such as construction, shipping, agriculture, oil and gas and mining.
 

 

Our Lead Instructor

 

JAMIE PACKER

Jamie is a NCSO (National Construction Safety Officer), and a member in good standing with the Alberta College of Paramedics. He has extensive experience working in the industry and has been working exclusively as a safety trainer for the past two years. 

Jamie first gained experience working as a Field Medic, High Angle Rescue Technician in the Alberta oil and gas sector as he continued to obtain his NCSO designation. From there, he was approached to train adults and enjoys teaching and working with people so they can further their own skill set and gain success in their own field of work. Jamie has previously worked in BC and Alberta and his range of field experience will offer a unique perspective to your class.
 

 

Our Policies

PAYMENT

We choose to use PayPal for the processing of all secure online credit card transactions. If you don’t have a credit card you may email transfer payment to admin@augustsafety.ca. Please email or call to ensure e-transfer payment may be processed, we'll give you the amount to send first, and we will provide confirmation of enrolment and an invoice.

All course registrations require 100% deposit up front, and we do not accept personal cheques or bank drafts. Cash may be accepted on day of course but please note that courses are registered on first come first serve basis. If you don’t register online we can’t guarantee availability the morning of the course. 

CANCELLATION

We require 48 hours notice from before the date of  your scheduled course to process a full refund. If less than 48 hours notice is provided we will provide a credit towards another course offered at a future date.

Students who are later than 15 minutes for a class cannot complete the class as per regulations, and may have to re-schedule for a future date with credit applied to the next course. Students who do not show, will treat their payment as forfeit.
