H2S Alive

This is an accredited Energy Safety Canada course and facilitated through August Safety Training, designed for those who need to work and may be exposed to Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) environments. Students must be able to physically perform the required exercises to successfully pass the program.

Student Capacity: 20 people

Covers:
  •  H2S (hydrogen sulfide) and its properties
  •  Hazard assessment and Control
  •  Respiratory Protection
  •  Basic Gas Detection
  •  Basic Rescue Techniques

Time: 9:00 am - 4:30 pm, The course will take approximately 8 hours, please be on time and prepared to start. Students who are late may be refused entry and will have to re-schedule.

Fall Protection (OSSA)(Comprehensive)

This course is provided by Energy Safety Canada (OSSA accredited) or (Comprehensive) facilitated through August Safety Training, designed for those who will work at heights or any elevated work area at or above 3 meters or ten feet and not protected by guardrails. Students must be able to physically perform the required exercises to successfully pass the program.

Student Capacity: 16 people (OSSA) 

Covers:
  •  Local and Regional legislation
  •  Hazard Assessment and Control
  •  OSSA Fundamental Fall Protection
  •  Practical Aspects, Inspection
  •  Rescue Concepts

Time: 9:00 am - 4:30 pm, The course will take approximately 8 hours, please be on time and prepared to start . Students who are late may be refused entry and will have to re-schedule.

Confined Space Entry / Monitor (OSSA)

This course is OSSA accredited and facilitated by August Safety Training, designed for those who may work in or around confined spaces at the work site. This is a two part course where you may be certified to work in, and or monitor confined space entries.
